Die Regisseurin und Choreografin Stephanie Thiersch entwickelt einen poetischen Raum, in dem alte Klagelieder und traditionelle Rituale eine Wiederbelebung erfahren und in neue Zusammenhänge gebracht werden. Der außergewöhnliche Cast bestehend aus fünf Musiker*innen und Tänzer*innen begibt sich auf die Suche nach einem verlorenen Wissen. Ein ?Chor der Älteren? unterstützt, kommentiert oder verdreht Gesänge und Bilder, verbindet Dunkelheit mit Licht und Leichtigkeit mit Witz. Die Aufführung spürt der Intimität und gleichzeitig dem Gemeinschaftlichen der Lamenti nach und versetzt die Anwesenden in eine kollektive Bewegung.Als Prolog zur Aufführung kann die Filminstallation VOICES OF LAMENTS besucht werden, die im Kontext der Arbeit an HELLO TO EMPTINESS entstand und das künstlerische Team mit lokalen Akteur*innen verbindet. A ?Choir of Elders? supports, comments or twists songs and images, connecting darkness with light and ease with wit. The set fits exactly into the original board game box of the 'Lord of the Rings: Journeys in Middle-earth' core game by Fantasy Flight Games. Provides space for all 31 figures and the complete game material of the core box. Has additional compartments for miniatures from upcoming expansions, like the Villains of Eriador" figure pack.
