A Scream in the Streets
From infamous producer Harry Novak - whose Box Office International Pictures brought the world such classics as AXE, MANTIS IN LACE and WHAM BAM THANK YOU, SPACEMAN - comes the still-startling sickie about a pair of L.A.P.D. detectives hunting a transvestite psychopath through a polyester jungle of massage parlor perverts, suburban sex fiends, violence-crazed cops and "one of the worst examples of cross-dressing ever filmed" (Digitally Obsessed). Joshua Bryant (ENTER THE DEVIL), Sandy Carey (DRIVE-IN MASSACRE), Linda York (CHAIN GANG WOMEN) and Sharon Kelly (aka '80s adult film superstar Colleen Brennan) star in this "garish display of rampant depravity" (Pulp International) directed by Carl Monson (PLEASE DON't EAT MY MOTHER!), now scanned uncut in 2K from the original negative- Shop: odax

Dr. Terror's House of Horrors
Blu-ray. Five men who board a train as strangers will soon find commonality when joined by a sixth passenger, the mysterious traveler known as Dr. Schreck (Peter Cushing). Watch as their destinies unfold in the chilling and "life"-altering horror-thrill ride, Dr. Terror's House of Horrors. To while away the time, the good doctor offers to read each passenger's Tarot cards. The innocent parlor game has an unexpected conclusion as each reading unfolds on screen as a terrifying vignette (a werewolf on the loose, a vengeful creeping vine, a tale of voodoo, a disembodied hand coming to life, and a vampire story) the results of which are unpredictable and shocking. From director Freddie Francis (The Doctor and The Devils, Dracula Has Risen From The Grave, Tales From The Crypt) and starring horror film royalty Peter Cushing (Horror of Dracula, Evil of Frankenstein) and Christopher Lee (Horror of Dracula, Lord of the Rings), Dr. Terror's House of Horrors features a stellar cast of supporting players including Donald Sutherland (Robert Altman's M.A.S.H., Bernardo Bertolucci's 1900), Max Adrian (Ken Russell's The Devils and The Boyfriend) and Michael Cough (Horror of Dracula, Tim Burton's Batman and Sleepy Hollow).- Shop: odax

Stephen Foster Melodies & Serenades for the American Parlor
When a large number of viewers expressed interest in the YouTube posting of Jonathan Guyot Smith's vintage recording of 'Beautiful Dreamer,' he returned to the recording studio to complete an album of songs by Stephen Foster, the 'Father of American Popular Music.' Included are several rare songs never previously recorded by anyone. Foster, the first composer named to the Hall of Fame of Great Americans, wrote the most famous popular songs of the 1850s - two of which are now official U.S. state songs. Stamps and coins have carried his likeness, and there are parks, public schools, and memorials bearing his name. He was the first American to prominently devote full-time to composing pop music, and his songs have been sung for over 150 years. In the early 1980s, Smith taught the only college course then in existence which dealt exclusively with the life and times of Stephen Foster. He now returns to perform the Foster songs once more - not as they might be sung on the concert stage, but as families of the 1850s and 1860s might have sung them, standing around the family piano in the parlor.- Shop: odax

Barbershop
From the producers of Soul Food and director Tim Story (Ride Along) comes this "warm, generous" (The New York Times) tale about a Chicago barbershop where razor-sharp comedy never goes out of style! Starring Ice Cube (Ride Along), Anthony Anderson (Black-ish), Sean Patrick Thomas (Save The Last Dance), Eve (xXx), Cedric the Entertainer (Larry Crowne), Troy Garity (Ballers), Michael Ealy (The Perfect Guy) and Keith David (They Live), Barbershop is both a "sweet, life-affirming movie" (N.Y. Daily News) and outrageous, bust-a-gut fun! Calvin (Ice Cube) is a would-be entrepreneur with big plans and running his family's barbershop isn't one of them. But when he impulsively sells the shop to a shady loan shark, he soon realizes just how important the neighborhood parlor is to him and just how far he'll go to get it back!- Shop: odax
