    Scott is thrilled to release his new CD 'God of the Impossible'. This album contains new and cutting edge songs of praise, worship, and passionate dedication to God. This powerful music will absolutely stir your spirit and lift you into a new place of worship and surrender to Jesus Christ. Scott's prayer is for God to uniquely touch the listener's heart throught his music and impart true passion for the Lord. His desire is to also write songs that were born out of time in God's presence that are easy to use in congregational worship. God word says in Psalm 42:7 that 'Deep calls to deep in the roar of Your waterfalls, all Your waves and breakers have swept over me' (NIV translation). Romans 11:33 says...'Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! (NIV). There is a depth in God that we are yet to experience, and even when we go deeper, we find that we've just scratched the surface. Words simply cannot fully describe how amazing God truly is. God's love for us is so deep and so amazing, if we could grasp and understand just part of how much He loves us it could set us free, give us confidence, make us bigger risktakers, and cause us to live our lives without fear for the future. His thoughts toward us are good, and He longs to help us fulfull the unique call He has on all of our lives. God wants to be pursued. He is a jealous God. Some may not realize this, but in the bible, Exodus 34:14 says that one of God's names is Jealous! James 4:5 also says 'Or do you suppose that it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, 'The Spirit which He has caused to dwell in our hearts yearns jealously over us?' (Weymouth New Testament). God is jealous over you. He wants all of you - our love, our devotion, everything we are, and everything we ever will be. If we are willing to give Him that - you can be sure that He will respond to our daily lives in such amazing, unique, and unpredictable ways and bless us beyond our wildest imagination both now and throughout all eternity. We pray that this recording can impart even a glimpse of how wonderful God truly is, and that as we worship He will reciprocate with an amazing response in our daily lives, and help us realize that His loving thoughts toward us 'outnumber the sands of the seashore' Psalm 139:17-18. God wants to always be there for you. The Bible says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God is still a miracle working God today, and there is nothing too hard for Him. He truly is the God of the Impossible! Here are some notes on each song... LORD OPEN MY EYES This song is a prayer as well as a praise to God. Ephesians 1:17-19 says...'I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength...' (NIV). These Bible verses are extremely powerful. Paul the apostle, throught the Holy Spirit is praying a prayer that God would give us the Spirit of WISDOM and REVELATION. You see, a revelation is something that is REVEALED by God, it's not something we can just conjure up in our mind. God wants to divinely REVEAL things about Himself and His future plan for us, things we could never think up ourselves. He wants to speak to you! Then the Scripture goes on to pray for the EYES of our HEART to be ENLIGHTENED to know about the HOPE God has for you, the RICHES of an inheritance He has for you, and the POWER He wants to work through those who believe. I could go on so long about these verses, but this is something we can meditate on and consistantly pray the same things for ourselves.....and when we pray a Biblical prayer in faith, you can be sure God is going to answer it a very powerful way. Father God, in Jesus' Name please open our spiritual senses to know You better, hear your voice, know the hope you have for us for the future, and walk in the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit! Amen. GREAT GOD Throughout the Bible God reveals Himself to mankind in so many ways. He shows Himself to us as the One Who can meet every need we have, and His names even reflect that.... Jehovah Jireh - The Lord will provide - Through faith He will provide everything we need Jehovah Rophe - The Lord Who heals - This implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is there - He is right here with us Jehovah Rohi - The Lord my Shepherd - He will guide us in the right path Jehovah Shalom - The Lord is peace - He gives peace in the middle of the storm, peace that surpasses our understanding Jehovah Nissi - The Lord is my banner, the Lord is my victory These are just a handful of the glorious names of God Almighty that show just how mighty He is for us, and will meet our every need. This song emphasises the fact that He alone is the Great God, and that no One else can do all the things that He can do. THE LORD OF FREEDOM I was stuck on writing this song for years. I had written the chorus and main melody and thought this would someday be a cool song. Years and years went by and I just couldn't seem to complete it. I felt like hit a dryspell with this song. Even my wife loved the chorus, but I was in a rut with it and just put it aside. I would bring it out every couple years and tinker with it and just couldn't come up with anything. Finally, while I was producing this project, I prayed, and God answered. I began to praise God with this song on the piano, and allowed God to take me out of the box that was holding me back. Everything came together for the rest of the song, and it came together in a way that I never anticipated! It went from being a slow worship song, to a driving, classic-rock feel praise & worship song about how Jesus Christ being Lord of freedom. I always liked certain classic rock and thought how cool that this song developed the way it did. There are so many things in this world that try to enslave us. Satan is the king of bondage, but Jesus is the Lord of Freedom. Galatians 5:1 says...'For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage' (ASV). Simply put...satan wants to tie you up, but Jesus wants to set you free. This is true in every way...spiritually, emotionally, and physically! One of the biggest bondages that satan tries to ensnare us with are LIES, and we give power to them when we believe them. However when we know the truth of the Word of God in the Bible, and Jesus Christ Who is the TRUTH, we know how to destroy the lies that try to shipwreck us and to live victoriously! Jesus said that satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but that Jesus came to give life, and life to the fullest! YOU REFRESH MY SOUL This song is written for the Christian who has truly devoted their live to the Lord. Throughout our Christian walk, we begin to realize we have some real enemies - the devil, the spirit of this world, negative influences, temtations all around, and even our own weaknesses. In the Bible, Hebrews 4:15 says this about Jesus - 'For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet was without sin' (NIV). This is such a wonderful scripture that says that Jesus completely understands what we are going through, because when he walked the earth He was also tempted just like we are. What is so wonderful is that He did everything perfectly, and the Bible says that He is the One Who intercedes to the Father in our defense. His perfect blood covers the sins of those who call on His Name. But many ask, what about if I sin as a Christian? The answer is in 1 John 1:9... 'If we
