The Origin of Cancer
This book contains an explanation for how cancer originated. We believe that you have to return to when life first originated on Earth about 4 billion years ago to discover where cancer comes from. When you do that, you discover many fascinating connections between cancer and the origin of life. An important clue that prompted us to begin this journey was how cancer cells resemble bacteria in many ways (for example, see "HeLa" cells on page 84), and bacteria and viruses were the first lifeforms to evolve. This is why we began to focus our attention on bacteria and viruses and how they evolved. The mycoplasma bacteria forms an important part of our theory on the origin of cancer. We were very fortunate to find an article on mycoplasma on Wikipedia (please do a search on Wikipedia for mycoplasma), which explains how the mycoplasma bacteria are responsible for many different kinds of cancer, such as breast cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer, renal (kidney) cancer, and prostate cancer. We were also fortunate to find an article on cholesterol that points out how the mycoplasma bacteria are one of the few bacteria that uses cholesterol. (Cholesterol is a factor, not only in heart disease, but also in cancer. See this article on cholesterol and cancer from the University of Alberta: https://medicalxpress.com/news/2016-04-bad-cholesterol-production-growth-tumours.html) There is no question that, if our theory is correct, this would be a monumental achievement in science. And to think that all it took was 40 years of research!- Shop: buecher

Mount Shasta: Home of the Ancients , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 443min
We were impressed with Thor’s frequent submissions to the newsletter of the Hollow Earth Research Association, 'The Hollow Hassle.' His knowledge of the Hollow Earth, ufology, occultism, and folklore is vast. He is continually working on new projects, and we are proud that he has selected us to publish this masterpiece. His other Hollow Earth book, 'A Guide to Inner Earth,' is absolutely essential for anyone exploring the subject. In that exhaustive study, he has researched every known book on the Hollow Earth, listing them for the reader. Now Thor has done the same thing for students of Mount Shasta lore with this book, 'Mount Shasta: Home of the Ancients.' Not only does he explore the many legends, adventures, and mysteries of the mountain, but he also shares invaluable geological, scientific, and historical data for the avid researcher or buff. In addition to Mount Shasta, the reader will also encounter the subjects of Atlantis, Lemuria, Mu, Vril power, crystals and their uses, fairies, elves, dwarves, giants, Bigfoot and Yeti, ETs, pyramids, and much more. Viewers of the NBC series 'V' will find chapter 7 particularly relevant, and perhaps a bit frightening. Among the many strange lifeforms seen on Mount Shasta are reptilian creatures not unlike those who have abducted various high-profile UFO witnesses (Travis Walton, Betty and Barney Hill, etc.). Those who previously considered the concept of reptilian aliens as pure fiction may now begin to consider the line between fiction and reality blurred. Thor’s readers will be flabbergasted to learn that the city of Los Angeles is actually laid out in the outline of a giant lizard; gold-lined tunnels and chambers supposedly exist beneath the modern skyscrapers on the surface. ungekürzt. Infinite , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 621min
Searching for a new home.... The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. With Earth no longer habitable and the Mars colony slowly failing, they are humanity's best hope. After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. This is the first time William dies. It is not the last. When he wakes from death, William discovers that all but one crew member - Capria Dixon - is either dead at Tom's hands, or has escaped to the surface of Kepler 452b. This dire situation is made worse when Tom attacks again - and is killed. Driven mad by a rare reaction to extended cryo-sleep, Tom hacked the Galahad's navigation system and locked the ship on a faster-than-light journey through the universe, destination: nowhere. Ever. Mysteriously immortal, William is taken on a journey with no end, where he encounters solitary desperation, strange and violent lifeforms, a forbidden love, and the nature of reality itself. ...he discovers the infinite. Jeremy Robinson, the master of fast-paced and highly original stories seamlessly blending elements of horror, science fiction, and thrillers, tackles his most ambitious subject matter to date: reality itself. An amalgam of the works of J.J. Abrams and Ridley Scott, Infinite is a bold science fiction novel exploring the vastness of space and a man's desire to exist, find love, and alter the course of his life. ungekürzt. Chained: Brides of the Kindred, Book 9 , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 896min, (USK 18)
Maggie Jordan is not supposed to be having adventures. Her mission is to go to Gaia, a new, unpopulated world, and study the native lifeforms there. So how come she finds herself in on the female-dominated Yonnie Six instead, rescuing a huge, muscular prisoner? The same prisoner she keeps seeing over and over again in her dreams...Korexiroth - or Kor, as Maggie dubs him, is a slave who spent his life fighting in the savage arenas of the Blood Circuit. He’s got plenty of kills under his belt and more than enough reasons to run as soon as he gets free. But somehow he can’t make himself part from the girl who was brave enough to save him from certain death. Now, Maggie and Kor are on the run together, trying desperately to find someone to remove the alien device that was implanted in Maggie as punishment for her thievery of an expensive slave. The device, or “slut button”, as it is called, forces Maggie to sexual excesses the shy scientist has never known before - and Kor is the only one who can help her control her new urges. Kor is more than willing to help Maggie satisfy her new sexual hunger, but his own appetites are not so easily satiated. For there is a dark secret, a shadow from his past that stalks him and whispers of power beyond belief if only he will give himself over to darkness. Will they find a way to return Maggie to normal? Will Kor admit how he really feels for her? Or will the shadow from his past succeed in tearing them apart? You’ll have to listen to Chained, Brides of the Kindred, Book Nine, to find out. ungekürzt. The Triassic Period: The History and Legacy of the Geologic Era that Witnessed the Rise of Dinosaurs , Hörbuch, Digital, ungekürzt, 71min
Scientists have long attempted to understand Earth’s past, and in service to that effort, they have divided the world’s history into eons, eras, periods, epochs, and ages. For example, the current eon is called the Phanerozoic, which means “visible life”. This is the eon in which multi-cellular life has evolved and thrived. Before this, life was microscopic (single cell). The Phanerozoic eon is divided into 3 eras - Paleozoic (“old life”), Mesozoic (“middle life”) and Cenozoic (“new life”). From there, the Mesozoic era is divided into 3 periods - Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous. Before the Triassic, primitive life had built up in the oceans and seas, and some lifeforms finally had crawled onto land during the Paleozoic era. With that, life had become well established, but then came the Permian-Triassic mass extinction, the worst extinction event in the history of the planet. At the end of the Triassic, another extinction event cleared the way for dinosaurs to become the dominant set of species in the Jurassic.Though the Triassic does not have as interesting a list of creatures as those in the Jurassic and Cretaceous, such as Tyranosaurus rex, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyls, Brontosaurus, and the like, the life which reclaimed the Earth and then thrived during this period was no less important. Life during the Triassic spent nearly 60 percent of its time recovering from the Permian-Triassic extinction event, roughly 30 million years. What had been built up was then slammed by nature, effectively clearing the board once more for new species to take over. The Triassic Period: The History and Legacy of the Geologic Era that Witnessed the Rise of Dinosaurs looks at the development of the era, the extinction events that preceded it, and how dinosaurs began to evolve in the Late Triassic. You will learn about the Triassic Period like never before. ungekürzt. Language: English. Narrator: Gregory T Luzitano. The War of the Worlds, Hörbuch, Digital, 352min
The War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel by English author H. G. Wells, first serialized in 1897 by Pearson's Magazine in the UK and by Cosmopolitan magazine in the US. The novel's first appearance in hardcover was in 1898 from publisher William Heinemann of London. Written between 1895 and 1897,it is one of the earliest stories to detail a conflict between mankind and an extraterrestrial race. The novel is the first-person narrative of both an unnamed protagonist in Surrey and of his younger brother in London as southern England is invaded by Martians. The novel is one of the most commented-on works in the science fiction canon.Wells trained as a science teacher during the latter half of the 1880s. One of his teachers was T. H. Huxley, famous as a major advocate of Darwinism. The scientific fascinations of the novel are established in the opening chapter where the narrator views Mars through a telescope, and Wells offers the image of the superior Martians having observed human affairs, as though watching tiny organisms through a microscope. Ironically it is microscopic Earth lifeforms that finally prove deadly to the Martian invasion force. In 1894 a French astronomer observed a 'strange light' on Mars, and published his findings in the scientific journal Nature on the second of August that year. Wells used this observation to open the novel, imagining these lights to be the launching of the Martian cylinders toward Earth. American astronomer Percival Lowell published the book Mars in 1895 suggesting features of the planet's surface observed through telescopes might be canals. He speculated that these might be irrigation channels constructed by a sentient life form to support existence on an arid, dying world, similar to that which Wells suggests the Martians have left behind. The novel also presents ideas related to Charles Darwin's theory of natural selection, both in specific ideas discussed by the narrator, and themes explored by the Language: English. One of the problems of discussing the ancient history of the Earth is the unimaginably long spans of time involved.
