    In Anlehnung an die von der Fachpresse hochdekorierten "IB-E" Flaggschiffe Silver Arrow und Archon X2 verfügt der Macho in der Revision B ebenfalls über eine deutlich vergrößerte, vernickelte und hochglanzpolierte Base in der Abmessung 53 x 40 mm. Eine weitere Neuerung des Macho Rev. B betrifft den mitgelieferten Lüfter. Der Kühler wird serienmäßig mit dem temperaturgeregelten Lüfter TY 147 A (PWM) ausgeliefert. Mit einer Drehzahl von 300 bis 1.300 U/min (+/-15%) ist der TY 147 A nochmals deutlich geräuschärmer als das Vorgängermodell (TY 147: 900-1.300 U/Min). Somit ist der Macho Rev. B im Normalbetrieb von außen praktisch nicht wahrnehmbar. Der TY 147 A ist mit einem verschleißarmen "Enhanced Hyper-Flow Bearing" ausgestattet. Die Förderleistung des auf ultra-silent Betrieb optimierten Lüfters variiert zwischen 29 und beeindruckenden 125 m3/h bei einer Geräuschentwicklung von ca. 15-21 dB(A). Der bewährte Lüfter mit seinem einmaligen Design verfügt über die Montagepunkte eines konventionellen 120 mm Lüfters und weist dabei einen größeren Innendurchmesser als gebräuchliche 140 mm Lüfter auf. Die Aluminium Kühlrippen sind mit mehreren Luftlöchern versehen, die einem Luftstau zwischen den einzelnen Kühlrippen entgegenwirken. Über das spezielle Design der Aluminiumfinnen des Kühlkörpers wird zudem ein besonders geringer Luftwiderstand realisiert. Der ovale Luftkanal in der Mitte des Kühlers sorgt für kontrollierte Luftverwirbelungen innerhalb des Kühlkörpers, wodurch die Abwärme noch effektiver abgeführt werden kann. Wie bei allen leistungsstarken Kühlern aus unserem Hause wird bei dem Macho in der Revision B auf die vielfach bewährte Heatpipe-Technologie zurückgegriffen. Gleich sechs leistungsstarke 6 mm Heatpipes sorgen für eine besonders effiziente Ableitung der Prozessor-Abwärme. Die Heatpipes sind fest in die vernickelte Kupfergrundplatte integriert, um eine möglichst effektive Wärmeableitung zu gewährleisten.
