    Palacios »Quiñón de Valmira« 2016 0.75L 13.5% Vol. Rotwein Trocken aus Spanien
    Dieser Top-Rioja aus Garnacha Tinta wird inzwischen unter der Federführung von Álvaro Palacios gekeltert. Der kleine Rebberg von 3 Hektar nahe Alfaro (Rioja) wurde mit alten Garnacha-Reben aufgestockt und der Wein wird von Jahr zu Jahr besser. Luis Gutiérrez von Robert Parker’s WineAdvocat hatte bereits das Glück, den Wein als Fassprobe kurz vor der Abfüllung verkosten zu können und vergab 96-98 Parker Punkte : „I had the chance to preview the 2016 Quiñón de Valmira, a wine that can seem perplexing during the élevage, as it's very pale and ethereal, but it has incredible power and depth, even if the sample was a bit shaky. There is great harmony and elegance here, with very good freshness. Even if it feels light on the palate, it seems to have more clout, concentration, power and acidity than the 2015, like it wants to go one step further. It's not very clear yet, but I believe this is a better wine than the 2015. This should be bottled around February 2018; I tasted a sample from an oval oak cask. There will be some 2,400 bottles of this. I also saw a very raw sample of 2017, from an atypical year of extreme heat and drought, and the wine had a lot more color, extract and concentration. We'll have to wait and see if this ends up being the great wine produced from Valmira. There will be a bit more wine in 2017.“ (Feb. 2018)

    Decanter: 95/100 Punkte "They've had their foot on the extraction pedal here, but the extremely dark fruit has great finesse. It is broad-shouldered and savoury-edged, and each time I tasted this wine it seemed a little richer and more complete, over-delivering for the year. This is going to age extremely well. 2% Petit Verdot makes up the blend. 75% new oak. Drinking Window 2025 – 2038” Vinous (Neal Martin): 91-93/100 Punkte „The 2017 Lynch Bages was picked from 18 September with the young Merlot vines and finishing on 30 September. It was cropped at around 50hl/ha. It is aged in 75% new oak for 18 months. It offers good intensity on the nose, not as precise or as mineral-driven as the 2016 last year, with cedar and pencil shaving infusing the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, very refined, a touch of white pepper and cedar with impressive depth on the finish. This will be an approachable Lynch Bages, probably pre-destined to be overshadowed by the magnificent (if nascent) 2016 but it will certainly give 20 to 25 years of drinking pleasure. Tasted four times with consistent notes“ Weinwisser: 18,5/20 Punkte "70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. Tiefes Purpurgranat mit schwarzer Mitte und violettem Rand. Ein Konzentrat aus Wildkirsche, schwarzer Olive, reifer Heidelbeere und betörenden Veilchen. Im zweiten Ansatz Cassis und dunkle Edelhölzer. Am muskulösen Gaumen mit seidiger Textur und kräftigem, reifem Tannin-Paket ausgestattet. Im sehr langanhaltenden Finale mit einem Feuerwerk von Schattenmorellen und schwarzen Johannisbeerpastillen. Grandioser Pauillac mit sehr grosser Fangemeinde, auf dem Weg zu höheren Note! 2030-2045"  Wine Spectator: 92-95/100 Punkte  "There's really good flesh here for the vintage, with cassis, plum and blackberry compote flavors that are a step ahead of the pack in concentration. Light charcoal and iron notes score the finish, which is racy and fresh. Textbook Pauillac."  James Suckling: 95/100 Punkte "This is an excellent Lynch that starts off slowly and then drives at the end with dark fruit and hints of hazelnuts. Strong and focused tannins.     Großer Mouton, der im Jahrhundert-Jahrgang 2010 aufgrund seiner verführerischen Eleganz erneut zu einer Ikone avanciert. James Suckling: 100 Punkte Clearly a perfect wine that shows incredible depth of fruit with currants, dark chocolate, minerals and licorice. Full-bodied, tight and wound up with ripe tannins that let go and seduce you. Makes me want to drink it now. But this is a wine for the long term. Extraordinary. 94% cabernet sauvignon. Better in 2020. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: 99 Punkte Tasted at the Mouton-Rothschild vertical in London, the 2010 Mouton-Rothschild is a modern-day benchmark for the First Growth and here, side-by-side with the 2009, it certainly has its nose in front. It is in possession of quite breathtaking delineation and precision, a crystalline bouquet with black fruit laced with minerals, potent pencil shaving notes, a touch of cold slate. It is totally entrancing. The palate has beguiling symmetry, but for me what really distinguishes this Mouton is its effortlessness. Like watching Usain Bolt in his prime sprinting to another world record, this wine is almost self-effacing in terms of its brilliance. Will Philippe Dhalluin ever better this Mouton-Rothschild? Keep it in the cellar for 15 years, if you know what's good for you. Tasted May 2016. Genussreife: 2015 - 2075 Wine Spectator: 99 Punkte This remains the stunner, a battleship of a wine, brimming with cassis, blackberry and fig fruit that has melded together now, with the backdrop of alder, bay leaf and menthol starting to emerge a bit more. The long finish is loaded with grip, pulling the fruit and other components together. And then there's that flash of iron at the very end. Awesome wine.--Non-blind Mouton-Rothschild vertical (March 2017). Genussreife: 2025-2060 Weinwisser (René Gabriel): 19/20 Punkte Möglich, dass er in 10 Jahren dramatischer ist als heute im zarten Alter vongerade mal 6 Monaten. Momentan aber ist der 2010er Mouton ein langer, ruhigerFluss. Warum das so ist, erläutert Philippe Dhalluin, technischer Direktor auf Château Mouton-Rothschild: «Schon seit dem Jahrgang 2006 verwende ich keinen Cabernet Franc mehr für Mouton. Für sich alleine degustiert, sind diese Lots zwar immer sehr gut, aber in der Assemblage verliert der Wein dann an Konzentration. Momentan sind leider auch keine Petit Verdots mehr mit von der Partie, da wir die Reben durch neue ersetzen mussten. Sobald diese dann wieder genügend Potenzial haben, kommt die Sorte wieder als Joker zum Einsatz.» Sattes Purpur-Granat.
